Here it is again another throwback Thursday. I truly hope that your week is going super band that you are finding ways to refuel your ‘Happiness Tanks” when they become empty throughout the week. Believe me I know it is not easy being the happy guy/gal in the room for the 10,080 minutes in the week, but trust me it is worth it. My mom always had a saying and I’m not sure where she picked it up, because I can’t find it in the Bible. It went something like this, “God never said it would be easy, he only said it would be worth it.” I truly believe that the effort you put into training yourself to be happy as much as you can won’t be easy but it will be worth it. I believe in the journey and not the destination and the journey is ever changing. Upon the journey, there is still time to change for the better and become who you need to become.
I
hope you enjoy this week’s throwback Thursday blog. It is a passage from my
book “The Long Step Forward” published by Bad T Publishing & Productions.
The Perpetual Motion of Life
4 a.m. 7-17-03
The end is not the result of the beginning!
The beginning is the start and the end is the
finish.
What makes the difference is the journey and/or the
decisions in-between.
In life there is only one true beginning and one
true ending.
The rest is just scenery for a common cause.
Life is full of stops and goes, but it is still a
forward motion in time.
Where we are today, may not be where we are
tomorrow.
I believe in "Life Changing Events" not
"Life Ending Events."
We will only experience one "Life Ending Event,"
that my friend is death!
And until that day there is always time to change
the path you are on!
It's not an ending, just merely a modification of a
journey that began at a point in time and will end at another point in time.
There will be ups and downs.
There will be smiles and frowns.
There will be good times and bad times.
There will be love gained and love lost.
There will be victories and there will be a time to
fall short.
How we react to these will define each and every one
of us.
All through these times the beginning and ending
will be the same.
We are not a product of our beginning and we are not
a product of our ending.
We are however a product of our life and our life is
a product of our “Defining Points.”
Fret not your end and forget your beginning,
so that you can concern yourself with the life at
hand.
